It's None Of Your Business

Quite often it can be easy to engage in small talk and become tangled in the web of other peoples problems. We all remember saying to ourselves at one point or another "Why did i let myself get involved in this!" Social networking plays a huge part in the exchange of information on all levels where discretion and confidentiality can serve us well. Focus is the key to success on a personal level. Focus to reach the desired goal that is. When there is too much going on around us we can easily lose our focus and slip into judgmental habits whilst acquiring an egotistic opinion or viewpoint without even noticing it for days or even years. Being blinded by our own limited perception is the most common source of lack in our lives in an ever-expanding society.

So what is it then that is none of your business? Anything that is not in front of you! What is in front of you is your practice and once it enters your mental space you are responsible for how you deal with it. If you are playing football but at the same time wondering how you will pay your mortgage arrears then your focus and energy is partitioned and you are lost between balancing the two until you choose one direction. Eventually one or the other will dominate your thinking causing the other to collapse from lack of mental & physical strength in the particular. There is no place or business on the football field where you are required to give 100% attention to reach your goal, thus the same principle applies in all areas of your life.

There are millions of different engagements in which to participate however they are governed by only a few simple principles. Until the core principles have been mastered by the individual another situation will occur in life to bring the core understanding back into balance. A million words are useless in a vocabulary without a sound understanding of its alphabet.
