
To fly we need to catch a plane, to avoid getting hurt we need to wait at the traffic lights, to reach our target we must be aware of the obstacles that we may encounter along the pathway to attainment. All of this is awareness and awareness dominates the energy field of the thinker whether he knows it or not.
So now the ego is born and the child seeks satisfaction in anything outside of himself. He knows on the unconscious level that he seeks satisfaction from the world but what he has now forgotten (because of the constructed ego) is that the satisfaction is already within himself – the outside world is only the trigger for inner stimulation.
So what happens when the world cannot deliver the goods? The child may become angry, upset, disheartened and now has a whole new array of feelings to contend with. Here we have the negative spectrum of feelings. If the parents are not armed with the facts of human nature then the child can lose their way and become lost for much of their life attracting more and more of the same misery and heartache until the imbalance has been neutralised. It is not a harsh hand of cards that is dealt by life it is simply a learned set of principles bringing about a certain result. The law under which the universe operates does not discriminate any individual whatsoever. The consequences that one experiences are karmically set by the choices and intention of the individual themselves.
